The first stage of Titan-Polymer production in the Moglino Special Economic Zone will begin before the end of the year.
An additional 1300 workplaces may be opened in the Moglino Special Economic Zone in the Pskov Region over the next three years. Mikhail Vedernikov, governor of the region, told Russian President Vladimir Putin about this at a working meeting.
He noted that the authorities are now working with an anchor investor, the Titan-Polymer factory. It is planned that by the end of the year the first stage of production will be launched.
“In general, the amount of investment in this project is comparable to the annual budget of the Pskov region. And we plan that within two or three years we will get an additional 1,300 workplaces only within this cluster,” added Vedernikov.
The Titan-Polymer factory produces polyester (PET granulate) and its products (BOPET film).
