Entrepreneurs of the Yaroslavl region will be able to learn about the specifics of working in the Italian market during the “Torgpred Hour” with Igor Karavayev. The event will take place in early December. The registration has already begun.

“Italy is among the top 25 foreign trade partners of the Yaroslavl region. In January-September the export volume exceeded 5 million dollars. The region’s companies mainly supply furniture, engineering products, tyres, glass fibre, leather, plywood and equipment to this country. There are, of course, opportunities for collaboration in other areas as well. Perhaps “Torgpred Hour” will give rise to cooperation in new directions,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Yaroslavl Region Maxim Avdeev.

The conference is organized by the Department of Regional Development and Foreign Economic Affairs of the Yaroslavl Region with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The application for participation can be submitted by December 1 to the e-mail address RadyukinVA@yarregion.ru and marked “Italy”. It is important to provide information about your company and your questions.

Representatives of machine-building companies, woodworking enterprises, IT, chemical industry and other spheres are ready to ask their questions to the Russian Trade Representative in Italy and potential business partners. On the Italian side, the conference will be attended by machine builders, manufacturers of plastic and polymer materials, heads of laboratories on international certification and others.

The format of “Torgpred Hour” was developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation to promote Russian products on foreign markets during the period of restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. It is an additional tool to support exporting companies, allowing them to study problematic issues and find new opportunities for international cooperation.
