On May 29 at 11:00 a.m., the Chemical Industry Committee of the All-Russian Public Organization “Business Russia” (hereinafter referred to as “Business Russia”) is holding a videoconference on the topic “Low-tonnage chemistry 2020: challenges and development prospects in the era of change”.

The videoconference is dedicated to the development of low-tonnage chemistry in Russia, including the challenges faced by the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in the absence of critical products of low and medium-tonnage chemistry in conditions of coronavirus infection spread around the world. The event will include a discussion of specific “re-profiling cases” of producers of small and medium tonnage chemistry in the context of the pandemic.

The event is moderated by Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Business Russia Chemical Industry Committee.

Participants in the event: Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Igorevich Ivanov (on the development of the sector of low-tonnage chemistry in Russia), President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Petrovich Ivanov (on the role of low-tonnage chemistry in the development of the chemical industry), President of “Business Russia” Pavel Borisovich Titov (on the participation of “Business Russia” in the development of measures to support enterprises), Rector of the RCTU named after V.I. Sutyaginsky (on the role of low-tonnage chemistry in the development of the chemical industry). Alexander G. Mazhuga, Rector of the Mendeleev RCTI (on the role of science in the development of low-tonnage chemistry), representatives of financial institutions, industry associations and business.
